How to buy a Bond?

Let's connect your wallet to the exchange!

You can buy at market price or buy at your desired price

1. Buy at market price

Immediately buy Bonds from the Sell Orders on the exchange.

Step 1: Browse the list of available Sell orders on the exchange to find any attractive Yield Bids. A higher yield is good for the buyer -> Click on Ask Yield or Ask Volume of the "Ask" you want to purchase.

Note: This is NOT the Bond interest rate. This is the interest rate at which you are willing to buy the Bond. The higher the trading yield, the less ADA the buyer will pay!

Step 2: Set the amount you want to buy

  • Danogo will automatically calculate the Bond price based on the desired Yield of the seller.

  • Click on the Buy button.

Step 3: Sign transaction on your Wallet.

2. Buy at your desired price (create Bid)

If there is no sell order with a suitable maturity and yield for you, or if you want to buy a large quantity of Bonds, please create a new Bid

Step 1: Click on +Bid button

Step 2: Enter the parameters for your Bid order

  • Choose your Maturity range: This is the range of Bond maturity that you want to buy, NOT related to Bond issuance time

  • Enter your desired Yield rate: Danogo will prioritize bid with the LOWEST yield for the seller to see you Bidder should enter the lowest yield you are willing to buy the Bond

  • Enter the amount of Bond Token you want to buy

  • Danogo will calculate the Ada deposit amount for you. Danogo will hold your ADA deposit but you will be able to keep ALL Staking Rewards until someone sell you a Bond, at that point your ADA will be paid to seller and you will be earning higher yield from the Bond you purchase instead!

  • Click Submit Bid

Step 3: Sign on Your wallet

  • When a seller agrees to sell you the Bond at your requested Yield, we will automatically transfer the Bond and leftover deposit back to your wallet

How to sell a Bond?

Let's connect your wallet to the exchange !

You can sell at market price or your desired price

1. Sell at market price

Sell immediately at market price by matching with the Bid order on the exchange

Step 1: Browse the list of available Bids on the exchange to find any attractive Yield Bids

Note: This is NOT the Bond interest rate. This is the interest rate at which you are willing to sell the Bond. The lower the trading yield, the more ADA the seller will receive! A higher yield will attract buyers to help you sell your Bond faster, but you may receive fewer Ada coins

Step 2: Click on the desired Bid

  • Set the amount you want to sell.

  • Danogo will automatically calculate the Bond price based on the desired Yield of the buyer and the remaining maturity period

Step 3: Sign on your Wallet

  • After the transaction is completed, your Bonds will be transferred to the buyer, and you will immediately receive the corresponding amount of ADA for the Bonds you sold

2. Sell at your desired price (create Listing)

If there are no suitable Bid orders, you can list your Bonds on the exchange for the desired Yield amount

Step 1: Click on your profile icon to view List of your Bond holding https://bond.danogo.io/bond-trading-account

Step 2: Click List next to the Bond you want to sell

Step 3: Enter the parameters for your Listing order

  • Set amount you want to sell

  • Set the interest rate (yield) you want to sell in percentage (ex: 5.33%)

Note: This is NOT the Bond interest rate. This is the interest rate at which you are willing to sell the Bond. The lower the trading yield, the more ADA the seller will receive! A higher yield will attract buyers to help you sell your Bond faster, but you may receive fewer Ada coins

Step 4: Sign on your Wallet

  • Danogo will automatically calculate Bond price daily, so sellers & buyers do not have to keep updating their listings prices. Danogo will prioritise display of Bond sale with highest offer interest rate first, so seller should try to offer the HIGHEST interest rate you are willing to sell your Bond

How to use Bond Automated Orders?

Bond Automated Orders are a powerful tool for liquidity providers and profit-seekers. Simply place a large order for Bonds and ADA, configure basic parameters, and the system will automatically split it into Buy/Sell orders with different Yield levels. After each trade, the Exchange will generate corresponding Buy/Sell orders to ensure continuous and potentially unlimited profits, saving you time and effort.

In the following instructions, we will refer to the person creating Automated Orders as the "Marker" and the person executing buy/sell orders within the Automated orders as the "Taker”

1. How to Create a Automated Order?

Let's connect your wallet to the exchange !

Step 1: Open the My Account screen and click on the "Create Automated Orders" button

Step 2: Enter the parameters to create a Automated order

  • The system displays the average market yield, which you can use as a reference to set a reasonable trading range to ensure liquidity

  • Maker enters other configuration information; there are clear explanations for each field on the UI

  • Click the "Preview Order List" button to view the list of Sell and Buy orders that the system will automatically allocate

Step 3: Preview order list

  • Click the "Preview Order List" button to view the list of Sell and Buy orders that the system will automatically allocate

Step 4: Submit Automated Order & Sign on your Wallet

  • After reviewing the list of suitable orders, click "Submit Automated Order" to place these orders on the market

  • Sign on the Wallet to confirm the transaction.

Upon successful confirmation, the My Account screen will display the running orders. On the Main market, your placed orders will be visible, waiting for matching orders from other traders.

2. How the Exchange matches Automated Orders and generates corresponding Buy/Sell Orders?

Below we describe the steps to perform Sell Bond for a Buy Order under Autotmated orders.

Step 1: On the Main market screen, Taker executes sell bond for a Buy order under Automated Orders.

  • Taker signs on the wallet to match the sell bond order as usual

  • When the order is matched, the exchange only charges a exchange fee = ½ compared to the normal fee, to encourage people to create Automated orders

Step 2:  The Exchange generates corresponding Sell orders

  • After Taker successfully sells Bond, with the amount of Bond purchased, the exchange will automatically create a corresponding Sell Order for the Market with:

Yield of Sell order = Yield of Buy order - Profit Margin

Note: When a Taker buys Bonds from a Sell Order within Automated orders, the Exchange will also perform a similar action:

  • Creating a corresponding Buy order with a Yield of Buy Order equal to the Yield of the Sell order minus the Profit Margin.

  • Continuously matching orders and generating corresponding orders automatically, the Automated order will consistently generate profits for the Marker.

3. Monitor Automated Orders

Marker can track their Automated orders at the My account screen

  • Total Quantity of ADA & Bonds within the Automated Order

  • PnL: Profit is calculated based on the number of ADA

  • APY: Annual Percentage Yield

  • A list of Buy Orders & Sell Orders within this Automated order (please note that the total quantity of ADA & Bonds directly within these orders may be less than the actual total ADA & Bonds due to us displaying only the ADA quantity based on the amount of Bonds bought/sold without adding the minimum ADA or accompanying ADA)

4. Update/ Cancel Automated orders

  • Update Automated Orders: At the moment, we do not support update Automated orders

  • Cancel Automated Order:  To cancel a Automated order, the Maker should click the X button in the Action column, then sign on the Wallet to complete the cancellation process.

    • After Cancel is successful, the total amount of ADA & Bond in the Automated order will be refunded to the Market Wallet.
